Game Review

Whenever I recommend a board game to someone, I feel like I should recommend a game that’s appropriate for any age; whether it be kids or adults. Mad Chess is the perfect game for that. This is a fast-paced game that won’t have your brain mush, yet you’ll be thinking your way through the different stages of the game.

There are a few things that I wish were different about this game. For one, I wish there were more development of the characters. I mean, I understand that if you were to make a game out of a movie, there would be certain things that you wouldn’t change about the movie. However, there’s a feeling here that I wish that we saw more of the characters. The reason being, there’s such a great cast.

Next, I wish that the game could have a bit more replay value. As I mentioned earlier, there’s a story arc to the game. It starts out like a chess game, progresses to a backstabbing way of chess, and then finally a backstabbing way of Kings. It was a cool little story, and was probably my favorite part of this game. The problem is, it ends. The game really doesn’t have any sort of challenge except for the fact that all the different characters have different moves, and they’re moving around the board in a fairly fast manner.

Now, you may be thinking that this game is too basic to be fun. Well I don’t see it that way. I think that these elements are what makes the game so fun. There’
