Here is what I can offer…
I’ve adapted this applet for my own purposes and added my own modes, namely a Knuth-Bendix mode and a binary mode.
The Knuth-Bendix mode is enabled by a toggle switch. When this toggle switch is on (lit), each insert point in the line is assigned to a number of its length, starting with 1 at the leftmost side of the long side and continuing through 13. The resulting mode space differs from the usual Knuth-Bendix mode, with no partial brackets and with the order of the blocks changing on every few mode points. I’ve called the new mode “K-B-1…2…3…4…”. What I want is for this mode to link into and be treated like a Knuth-Bendix mode. I’m unable to do this at present, but I would be happy to hear from someone who knows how. I have made the knuth.htm file for the K-B-1…2…3…4… mode into the Knuth-Bendix list of files (the file lists the modes 1…2…3…4… etc) and I use Knuth’s dotView
